Long-Term Dredging Deal for DEME
Ok Tedi Mining Ltd. (OTML) has awarded to Dredging International, member of the DEME Group, a five and a half-year extension of its ongoing contract to remove mine-derived sediments from the lower Ok Tedi river system, situated in the Western Province of Papua New Guinea.
Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. has been awarded three dredging-related contracts on the African subcontinent with a combined value of approximately EUR 75 million.
Mercator Limited, an Indian marine and energy group, is expanding their dredging business by adding two more dredgers to its fleet.
