Meyer Material Plans to Use Dredger in Cary Project

Meyer Material representatives will be hosting a public meeting at Cary Village Hall on Saturday, September 17 at 9:00 am, the Village of Cary, IL, has just announced on its official website.

Meyer Material will provide an update on the current status of mining operations and present an option for consideration which involves the use of a dredger on the Meyer Material property.

The dredger can run quieter than existing equipment and would increase operational efficiencies allowing the mining process to be completed by December 2017 with the use of a 24-hour work schedule.

At the meeting, Meyer Material will provide specific information regarding the dredge equipment and answer questions from the residents.

Site restoration is set to be completed by June 2018.
