DEME’s TSHD Scheldt River Bunkered with LNG in Germany

DEME’s new dual fuel trailing suction hopper dredger ‘Scheldt River’ was successfully bunkered with Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) at Brunsbüttel Ports earlier this week.

 

Approval for Kavkaz and Taman Ports Dredging Projects

FSUE Rosmorport has just received state environmental approval for the documentation regarding the maintenance dredging of Kavkaz and Taman ports, reported the company.

 

$74 Million for New York District Projects

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters has announced FY19 Work Plan budget allocations, with New York District receiving approximately $74,273,500 million for its projects and studies.

The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) has just announced the latest update on the dredging plans for Exmouth Marina and disposal of materials at Sprey Point, saying that the dredging work is due to take place this month.

 

Royal IHC Launches New CSD for Golden Falcon Marine Construction

Royal IHC successfully launched a 5,940kW cutter suction dredger (CSD) for Golden Falcon Marine Construction on 28 January at IHC’s shipyard in Krimpen aan den IJssel, the Netherlands.

3rd International Congress Hydraulic Engineering Structures and Dredging

Russia’s leading maritime industry Media Group PortNews (www.portnews.ru) holds a traditional annual Congress “Hydraulic Engineering Structures and Dredging” in Moscow. 

The two-day Congress includes the 7th International Forum of Dredging Companies and the 3rd Technical Conference “Modern Solutions for Hydraulic Engineering”.

Infrastructure development is among the real sources of Russia’s economy growth. Construction of port facilities and new hydraulic engineering structures on the country’s inland waterways constitute an essential part of all infrastructure projects.
