Isdhoo Harbour development moves forward

Work on the L. Isdhoo Harbour development scheme is currently underway, with overall 85% project progress.

According to the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company’s latest update, they have already completed construction of the quay wall.

Scope of works for this project includes:

• dredging and excavation operations of 27,129cbm;

• construction of a 230m quay wall;

• a 208m breakwater and a 98m revetment.

Additionally, creation of 1,560sqm of paved area and installation of harbor lights will also be undertaken.

The value of the project is MVR 34.7 million ($2.2 million).
