GPHA, CHEC Ink Takoradi Port Contract (Ghana)

Last week, the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) signed an agreement with the China Harbour engineering Company (CHEC) for the first phase of the 150 million dollar Takoradi Port Infrastructure Development Project.

According to ghanabusinessnews.com, Mr Richard Anamoo, Director-General of GPHA signed for the Authority, while Mr Yang Tao, Country Manager of CHEC, initialled for the company.

The first and second phases of the project totalling $344 million would be executed within two years.
