CHEC Wins Mozambique Nacala Coal Wharf Project

On the morning of Sep. 6th, 2012, CHEC signed the Main Contract for Mozambique Nacala Coal Wharf Project with the owner CVRD Inco in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique.

The value of the contract was around US 73 million dollars, with the construction duration of 24 months. This symbolized that CHEC successfully achieved the first main contract project in Mozambique.

This project was a part of Nacala Corridor Project invested and built by CVRD Inco in Mozambique.

The implementation of Nacala Corridor Project would make coal produced in the inland province Tait exported from Northern Port Nacala by railway. The Nacala Port Wharf undertaken by CHEC was the terminal of corridor.
